Privacy policy
What this website collects about you, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers this website only; how we handle your organisation’s data on the platform is set out in your customer agreement.
Last updated 26 October 2026.
Who we are
This website is run by Clan Platform Team (“Clan”, “we”). For anything in this policy, write to support@clanplatform.com.
What we collect
- What you type into a form. When you ask for a demo, a price or security documentation, we receive what you enter: your name, work email, organisation and role, and whatever else the form asks for, such as your country, the size of your organisation and the process you want to fix.
- Page views, without cookies. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not identify you. It records the page, the referring site, and your browser, device type and country, as an anonymous total.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running.
- Choices stored on your own device. If you pick a pricing region, a light or dark theme, or pause the animations, that choice is kept in your browser’s local storage so it is remembered next time. It never leaves your device.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not buy data about you.
Why we use it
- To reply to your request and arrange what you asked for. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry you made, or taking steps at your request before a contract.
- To understand which pages are useful, from anonymous totals.
- To keep the website secure and working.
We do not sell your information or share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Who processes it for us
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) receives each form submission and delivers it to us by email.
- Our email provider, where those submissions are stored as messages.
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and provides the page-view analytics.
Some of these providers are outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, transfers rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as we are talking to you and for up to two years afterwards, unless you become a customer, when your agreement sets the terms. Ask us and we will delete an enquiry sooner.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — for example under the GDPR in the European Union and the United Kingdom, or India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act — you can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent. Write to the address above and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be called out here.
